South Asia - Winter 2025

This was our 5th and final evangelistic team trip focusing on the “G” people in South Asia. Each time we go we are amazed at God’s grace in bringing people to faith before our very eye. Each team member is paired with a local pastor or leader as translator. We go into villages that have been prayer-walked ahead of us. We meet the people and share the gospel with them. This time our team was privileged to share the gospel with 1017 people and 885 of them made initial professions of faith. After we leave, the local evangelists that we support do go back and connect with those who made professions of faith, to go over the gospel again and confirm them, and to enfold them into an existing, or, most often, into the formation of a new house church. In most places we were warmly welcomed. In some, not so much. Many people had never heard of Christ, or, they had heard something, they had never heard the gospel. Nearly 1/3 of the world’s population live in people groups with far less than 2% of the population knowing about Jesus. These are called unreached people groups, and they are who we especially want to continue focusing our missions efforts toward.
