About 1/3 of the world’s 8 billion people live in Unreached People groups (UPG’s), where less than 2% of the population is Christian. SCC is sponsoring 7 full time evangelist/church planters, and part time children’s ministry workers, to work among the unreached “G”. And part of the strategy is also that we help by doing evangelism alongside them. Each of us had a translator who walked with us and translated our gospel. We would go to a village and in pairs go house to house. We were trained already in sharing the gospel, and it was amazing doing it. All told, we shared the gospel with 1,640 people, sometimes in groups, sometimes individually. That is, 1,640 people heard the gospel from us. And 448 of them made professions of faith! Additionally, we visited some of the few local churches that exist.
