What to Expect

Meals

There is a wide variety of restaurants to choose from near the resort, right on the edge of Whistler Village where you will be able to find everything from fine dining to fast food. Each of the resort rooms is equipped with a mini-fridge, so you can bring your own food, or pick something up at the grocery in Whistler Village.

Registration & Payments

***There is a NON-REFUNDABLE $50 registration fee.***

Retreat Price: $495 per couple

A few important notes about your registration and payment:

  1. Please note, parking and meals are NOT included in your registration fee.

  2. There are no refunds AFTER March 23, 2022.

  3. If you cancel your reservation before March 23, 2022 you will be given a full refund LESS the $50 deposit.

  4. Your payment is made directly to Snohomish Community Church (SCC).

Special notes about your reservation at the Four Seasons

  1. You will receive a reservation number from us once we have submitted participant names to the Four Seasons. At that point - once you have received your reservation number - you may call the Four Seasons to arrange to stay longer.

    1. We are unable to do this for you! If you are told otherwise, call back or ask to speak with someone else.

    2. This year, there are extra days available BEFORE the retreat, and only ONE NIGHT after.

    3. Extra days are paid directly to the Four Seasons.

  2. You will be assigned your actual room UPON CHECK-IN at the Four Seasons.

Activities

We will have all of Saturday afternoon free to explore Whistler Village, go for a gondola ride, or just relax in your room. We will have more information about activities later or you can follow the link below to take a look for yourself.

 

Getting There

Driving time from Snohomish to Whistler is is about 3.5 hours…you will want to add additional time for any stops (including crossing the border) and traffic. You may wish to consider carpooling with another couple or two to split the cost of gas and parking. (Gas will cost $50-70 depending on the vehicle.)
Directions from Interstate 5:

Take Interstate 5 to the border (becomes Highway 99 in Canada)
Follow Highway 99 North
Cross the Oak Street Bridge and continue on Oak Street
Turn left on West 49th Avenue
Turn right on Granville Street and cross the Granville Street Bridge
Take the Seymour Street exit off the bridge
After seven blocks, turn left on to Georgia Street
Continue West on to Stanley Park causeway and cross the Lion’s Gate Bridge
Take West Vancouver exit off the bridge
Take first right on to Taylor Way
Turn left on to Highway 1 West
Take Squamish/Whistler exit on to Highway 99 North
Follow Highway 99 North to Whistler (approximately 1.5 hours)
