Women’s Ministry 2020-2021

It all started when…

We were brainstorming.

2020 this far has been a hard year for so many. How do we, as a women’s ministry team, select as a theme when it feels gathering may not even be in our future. How can we reach women who need, crave, and love each other’s presence when that may not even be possible?

Then Barb shared an article. In it the phrase ‘holding out hope’ leapt off the page and into our hearts. And with it, Romans 15:13: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

That was the answer. God, as always, showed us the path. Let us all fill ourselves with Christ so that we ourselves overflow with hope so that we ourselves are vessels overflowing and can hold out that hope for others to draw strength from.

And thus our theme was brought into existence.

Holding out Hope.
