Kevin and Alina Beach

Kevin was born and raised in Seattle Washington, studied in the aviation industry earning a pilot’s license at 19 then working as airplane mechanic at Boeing before responding to God’s direction to church planting internationally. Kevin studied Bible in Wisconsin then met his bride in Ethnos 360’s (formerly New Tribes Mission) missionary training in Baker City, OR.

Alina, born in Acapulco Mexico and raised in Guadalajara, came to know the Lord as a teenager through a local bible church in her area through other missionaries. She studied Bible in Puebla, Mexico, worked in her church, and after reading "Through Gates of Splendor” was challenged to be a missionary to people who had never heard of Jesus. Through God’s guiding she landed in Baker City, OR to study tribal missions and there she met Kevin. They have been very happily married for 30 years!

Together they studied linguistics in Missouri and then, through Ethnos 360, worked for four years in the high mountains of Chihuahua State among the Tarahumara (“Raramuri”). Later they moved to the state of Durango to open a new work for Ethnos 360 among the Tepehuan (“Audám”) Indians in the Southern part of the state of Durango. The conditions were hard and the language too. They spent 8 years working with them.

Kevin, still sensing God’s calling to church planting, decided to transfer to Fellowship International Mission (FIM) where they could realize their vision of planting a church. They are now north of Puerto Vallarta where they have, by God’s grace, raised up a church. They started with kid’s clubs in 3 different parks. The kid’s parents began to ask questions, respond to the gospel, and the church was born.

Attendance runs 50 or more each Sunday and new people are coming regularly. Their vision is “To Live and Guide Others to Live Everyday as Disciples of Jesus” (Vivir y Guiar A Otros A Vivir Cada Día Como Seguidores De Jesús).

If you would like more information, contact them through the church or through WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger.
