Have you struggled with defending your faith when tough questions are asked? How do you answer when challenged with questions like -

  • "If God is loving, then why is there evil in the world?" or

  • "How can Jesus be the only way to God" or even

  • "How can your prove there is a God?"

In this 4-week class, we’ll discover there are answers to these questions! We'll be using Alex McFarland’s book "The 10 most Common Objections to Christianity" to explore answers to these and other questions posed to Christians.

Grief Share Support Group

It hurts to lose someone. Find help at Grief Share, a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. Our next 13 week group starts September 9 and will meet Monday nights 6:30-8:30pm in the Family Center Building. More information at

Conversations Class

Sharing the Gospel is NOT about CORNERING people. It’s mostly about CONVERSATION in a natural way that includes CHRIST. Join us for this great 3 part seminar about how to engage in conversations about faith. Stop just “wanting to” share your faith, and learn how to actually do it. Class will be (3) Sundays during second service (9:45-10:45am) Oct 27, Nov 3 and Nov 10 in the Conference Room.

Launching this fall!

Are you ready to take the next step in the discipleship process?
This fall, set aside Tuesday evenings and prepare to open your heart to the Lord and see Him work in you like only He can. This fall, you’re invited to become the disciple Christ is stirring you to be.

The Institute is open to men and women of SCC and will be meeting weekly in the Family Center, Tuesday evenings. Time TBD.

Ladies, you are invited to join us for our Women’s Fall Kickoff - Friday Sept 13 6:30-9pm in the Worship Center.

Our 2020 theme is "Convinced" from Romans 8:38-39...For I am convinced that nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

It will be an exciting evening of meeting new friends, fellowship, enjoying a light dinner and checking out all of the Fall Bible study options. Many other women's ministries will be represented so come see all the MANY fun ways to connect with others, get involved and grow your faith! It's also a great opportunity to bring a friend or neighbor to a casual evening at church. No registration for the event, but if you need childcare (ages 5 and under) please register here

MOPS (on break for summer - resumes Sept 24)

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is a Christ-centered opportunity for moms to meet for encouragement, food, friendship and growth. Moms receive support and companionship as well as helpful tips from our guest speakers on raising children and building a stronger home. During each meeting our children are well-cared for by fabulous volunteers in our MOPPETS program.

2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month, 9:15-11:15am.

If you love kids or have simply benefited from MOPS in years past, why not volunteer for Mops Kids? Great volunteers are always welcome.

MOPS meets every other Tuesday morning, 9-11:30am. While moms grow in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus, you get to love on their kiddos!

We want to help men make the most of their life by being real while we pursue being who God has made us to be. We do this by getting together regularly for monthly breakfasts, in small groups (which we call life groups), at our biannual retreat and engaging in activities (hiking, biking, golfing, etc.).

At Snohomish Community Church we love students! MSM and HSM are a place for middle school and high school students to feel welcome and find a place where they can grow in relationships, both with God and others.

Meeting Times


  • Middle School: Sundays at 9:45am

  • High School: Sundays at 11:15am


  • Middle and High School: Life Groups Thursdays at 6:30pm

Student Life Groups have concluded for the school year and will resume on September 26th.

Worship Services (Sundays)

We have gatherings of Middle School and High School Students that meet on Sundays for fun, worship, teaching and some brief small group time. This is our large group event for the week.

  • Middle School: 9:45am in the Student Center

  • High School: 11:15am in the Student Center

Student Life Groups

Student Life Groups are your chance to connect with other students going through the same things you are and a mentor to help take you to the Bible to figure it all out. High School and Middle School Groups meet on Thursday nights at 6:30pm.

We are here to help parents raise a generation of kids who worship God from the inside out. We do this by helping parents establish the Word of God their homes, where their kids have the opportunity to know and follow Jesus, be changed by him and become committed to His mission.

Awana is a great time for kids to have fellowship with one another, play fun games and most importantly, learn God’s word in a smaller group setting where we focus on discipling.

Family Swim Night Aug 25th! We've reserved the Snohomish Aquatic Center just for you! Come Join us for an evening of fun on the slides, flow rider, and in the water. Invite your neighbors to this all ages event- admission is free! 6:00-7:30pm

Route 66 Monday Bible Class (on break till 9/9)

Meets normally on the 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th Mondays of the month, 10:30-11:30am in the Student Center (There are a few holiday exceptions). Every lesson features careful Bible exposition, practical life applications, and detailed printed take-home notes.

NOTE: Route 66 is on break for the summer but will resume Monday, September 9 at 10:30am.


Roadside Diner Luncheon Series (on break till 9/23)


Roadside Diner meets on the 3rd (or 2nd) Monday of the month, 12:00-2:00pm in the Student Center. We always start with lunch at noon. Sometimes the Diner provides the all or part of the meal—and sometimes we do potluck.  Watch the church bulletin and/or your mailbox for monthly food specifics.

NOTE: Route 66 is on break for the summer but will resume Monday, September 16 from noon-2pm.

Grandparents At Prayer (GAP) Group

Grandparents are invited to join the GAP group that meets on the first Sunday of each month (although it is sometimes changed due to church calendar events) at 8:15 am (during the first service) in Family Center (Room 2) as we gather together to share devotions and pray for our grandchildren.

Is celebrated on the second Sunday in September each year as we honor and give thanks for grandparents. This year it will be Sept. 8th. We will have treats for you to share with your grandchildren and an opportunity to take a photo with them.

Grandparents’ Night Out - Oct 2019

An informal gathering of grandparents who would like to know more about being intentional Christian grandparents. Three Tuesday nights starting Oct. 1, 6:45-8:30pm. We will meet in Room 2 of the Family Center. We will enjoy a time for treats and fellowship, teaching and end with discussion and prayer.

Grandparenting Classes

Are offered at various times during the year to bring grandparents together for fellowship and to study God’s Word and new resource materials.

Celebrate Marriage DAte Night - Oct 5 @ 5:45pm

All couples are invited to this annual celebration of marriage featuring guest speaker, Sam Ford, as we gather together for a special date night with great fun, food & fellowship.

The theme this year is ‘Adventures in Marriage.’ If you are an outdoorsy person, this year will be especially fun! Not to mention delicious grub.

Sign-ups open online and in the lobby starting September 1.

Childcare provided by reservation (kiddos will also have dinner provided). Cost is $15 per couple and childcare is $5 per family.

Preparing for Marriage

Are you engaged or considering getting engaged in the near future? This 5 session course, Preparing for Marriage, will help you learn about God’s blueprint for marriage and help you evaluate as a couple your readiness for marriage. Contact for more information.

Marriage Retreats

A weekend away (held every other year) at a special venue for a program that includes marriage enrichment teaching, worship, fellowship, and times for couples to focus on each other.
