SERVING WITH KIDS LIFE

Our Kids Life ministry thrives because we have volunteers who are committed to providing a safe, fun, and exciting learning environment for children to develop a relationship with Jesus.  We have many options to serve, some are campus specific, and require more time while some are more flexible. Please look through the list below to see where you can help!

Nursery

Nursery is designed for birth to two years. On Sunday morning it is our desire to have a room that is safe and clean while maintaining an atmosphere of love and laughter for young ones. We want parents to be confident that their children are being cared for by loving and trustworthy volunteers who are passionate about Jesus. The time commitments for serving in the nursery are flexible.

Toddlers & Pre-K

Our Toddler through Kindergarten classes are for children 2-6 years of age. On Sunday morning, we provide a safe and age appropriate time of hands on activities that help children discover the wonder of God's Word.  Volunteers are needed to build relationships, help set up and assist with activities and snack, transition from class to worship time and recap the Bible story. We aim to have 3 leaders per classroom.  Each campus has a specific rotation schedule.  Room leaders are asked for a one year school calendar commitment either every week or every other week; with the goal of moving up with their class each year.

Elementary

Elementary classes are for 1st – 5th grade students.  On Sunday mornings we offer a fun, energetic, and safe environment where children learn about Jesus and how to apply His teaching to their life. Volunteers are needed to build relationships, help lead discussion, direct transitions, and provide a safe learning environment.  We aim to have 3 leaders for each class.  Each campus has specific rotation schedule. Class leaders are asked for a one year school calendar commitment; with the goal of moving up with their class each year.

Greeters

Greeters provide a key role in welcoming families to both the Preschool and Elementary areas. They help with check-in, direct new families to classrooms and answer questions. Commitment times are flexible for this area.

Large Group Team

This team provides an engaging environment of large group worship time for children. We need adults to help lead and train students in set-up, worship and tear down, execute audio visual elements; also opportunities to lead Worship and tell the Bible Story. Volunteers are asked for a one year school calendar commitment with a flexible schedule.

Special Needs

Special Needs team is a specialized group of leaders who can shadow and provide one-on-one assistance to special needs children in our ministry with their peers.

Admin Team

You may be available to help us with administrative needs, from stuffing bulletins to mailings and small projects throughout the week or as they come up.

Worship Team

Worship Team

SERVING WITH THE WORSHIP TEAM

The Worship Ministry utilizes musicians and vocalists in our services to draw full attention to Christ, be biblically thematic, and encourage response in thought, word, and action - worship!

Band

“David and all the Israelites were celebrating with all their might before God, with songs and with harps, lyres, tambourines, cymbals and trumpets” (1 Chronicles 13:8)

God has given us the gift and joy of praising Him with instruments. Do you share this passion? We would love to get to know you and value a diversity of instrumentation. Instrumentalists from this group are also selected for other ministry opportunities outside of Sunday morning services.

Vocals

“Sing to the Lord, you saints of His, praise His holy name” Psalm 30:4

We have a worship choir that sings once a month. From the worship choir we audition vocalists for primary background vocals, small vocal teams, and worship leaders. If you love to lift up your voice and lead the congregation in singing praises to our Savior, join us!
