Fundamentals at Snohomish Community Church

We're thrilled to offer training to help you understand how the Bible applies to all areas of life. These courses will take place over three weekends, with sessions on Fridays from 6 pm to 9:30 pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 4:30 pm. 

Learn how the bible provides help and hope for every situation in life. These 30 hours of teaching will transform the way you view your circumstances and relationships. The Fundamentals of Biblical Counseling will give you confidence in the sufficiency of Scripture and prepare you to approach all of life from a biblical perspective.

Speakers

Andrew Rogers

Passionate about discipleship and equipping God’s people for ministry, Andrew has served the church for over 27 years as a pastor, professor, and missionary. He received his B.A. from California State University, Fresno, a M.A. from The Master’s University, a M.Div. from The Master’s Seminary, and a Th.M. and Ph.D. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Andrew and his wife, Jenny, live in the Bay Area of California, and have four children, Zach, Hayden, Kailey, and Paige. He currently serves as the director of Biblical Counseling Ministry Worldwide (BCMW), a ministry devoted to strengthening churches around the world through biblical counseling. Andrew spends much of his time traveling around the world teaching biblical counseling to graduate students and lay members of churches. He is also a Fellow and Board Member with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC), and a member of The Evangelical Theological Society (ETS).

Jim Low

Jim is a native Washingtonian, born and raised in Snohomish County. He earned his B.A. in Communications from the University of Washington, a Biblical Studies Certificate from California Center for Biblical Studies in Culver City, and a Master’s Degree in Biblical Counseling from the Master’s University in Santa Clarita, CA.

Jim has 34 years of pastoral ministry experience and serves currently as the Pastor of Counseling and Care at Snohomish Community Church. Jim is a biblical counselor, certified through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors. He is passionate about helping people apply the Scriptures to everyday life.

Jim enjoys hiking, photography, the beach, and spending time with family, especially his wife Jamie, along his four adult sons, three daughters-in-law, and grandson Ellis.
