Luke and Kelly Lyons (Scott, Everett, Virginia)
Kelly & I grew up as missionary kids. Kelly was born and raised in S. Korea & Luke in Manila, Philippines. Neither of us had missions work as our long term goals so we started into the workforce in the USA. Into our 2nd year of marriage it was clear to both of us, independently, that God was intentionally preparing us for an exciting life as Missionaries. It's been quite a ride since 2009. Again and again God shows his powerful hand in our lives. We've helped start multiple churches, coached, trained, mentored, and equipped leaders for years. One of our greatest joys is spending time developing a leader and seeing how God then takes that investment and moves in their own lives to serve the Lord. Many of those whom we've spent a lot of time with have now themselves become missionaries to other countries like Cambodia or Thailand. I regularly say, "I can't believe that I get to do this with my life."
