Greg and LuAnn Lyons
Greg Lyons was born to missionaries J. Boyd Lyons and Donna Lyons. Saved at the age of 8 years old, and as a teenager dedicated his life to serve God. He met his wife, LuAnn, while attending Baptist Bible College in Springfield MO. They have been in ministry in the Philippines since 1985.
Greg and LuAnn have been married for over 40 years. Greg and LuAnn have 6 adult children, 4 of which are full time missionaries (3 with Global Surge & 1 with Freeway Ministries).
These are a few of the ministries started by the Lyons:
Global Surge (GS) 1994 - An urban church-planting ministry. Using evangelistic camps, this ministry has reached over 1.9 million young people with the Gospel in the past several years.
Community Baptist Church (CBC) 1994 – A multisite church throughout Metro Manila and Southeast Asia. As part of the Global Surge Church Network all of CBC congregations meet at one of our 23 Global Surge Worship Centers.
Baptist Bible College Asia (BBCA) 1999 - An educational leadership-training ministry to equip and prepare the next wave of Non-Western leaders in ministry and society.
Global Life University (GLU) is the global footprint of BBCAsia. GLU/BBCA has an enrollment reaching 2,000. www.BBCAsia.org
Kidz JAM (KJAM) 2003 - A community-based children’s ministry, teaching moral values and Biblical truth to children on the streets of Asian urban centers. Currently, KJAM reaches over 5,000 children each week. www.kidzjamonline.com

Global Missionary Clearinghouse (GMC) 2017. An Asian based Missionary Clearinghouse to provide an onramp for career and short-term missionaries to reach the world. GMC is nearing 100 missionaries. www.gmcmissions.org
